I was working at my computer in my living room recliner when I noticed a black bear standing at my window, trying to dump the contents of our hummingbird feeder into his mouth. I caught a quick shot of him with my phone camera. He then stuck around in our yard trying to find any other tasty morsels from our other bird feeders. I started to video him and he came right up to our door, which I promptly locked! He then went back toward the hummingbird feeder and that's when our cat jumped up in the window for a glimpse. When the bear stood up again, our cat hissed and swatted at him. Then, he smartly ran away. This was such an exciting (somewhat scary) and rare occurrence, to catch a bear mid-day so close up and personal! I'm so glad I caught it on video! Enjoy!
