I filmed this just after I watched the Doctor Who trailer released at SDCC at home in London.

Doctor Who means so much to me and has been in my life since 2005 when I was 9 years old, and my parents before me loved Classic!Who.

No other show has been so close to me from childhood through to adulthood and I think that’s really important and really beautiful. I never, never thought I would see a female doctor...but my god I hoped there would be.

I’m still in awe that my favourite childhood show, that I kind of lost in the last few seasons, come back to me in adulthood and make me feel like I’m 12 again watching Donna Noble say “ask her yourself” and The Doctor and Rose Tyler sprinting towards each other...I am so damn excited to see Jodie Whittaker, an insanely talented actress whom I loved in Broadchurch, Northern no less, bring me back to the show that helped shape me in such a new way that I never thought could happen.

I will be watching the premiere in full 13 cosplay!
