Headless chickens aren't the only bird to panic and run in circles, as this baby duck in West Pasco, Washington state, did when separated from his mother and other hatchlings.

The brood of ducklings was following their mother and all hopped over a concrete curb, barring one who couldn't clear it at first and panicked. This little one sprinted in a circle before using its momentum to leap and clear the curb, rejoining his waiting family.

I met some friends in the parking lot of the local Goodwill store in the early morning. I heard a strange sound nearby and decided to investigate. To my surprise, I saw several baby ducks following the mother duck. The video shows what happened as I approached them.
