Earlswood Flood
We were at a family event over in Kidderminster and had been watching the thunder and lightning in the dry. We drove home and Google Maps showed that the M42 was blocked so we took a back way. The back way was almost entirely dry until we suddenly came across the flood.
After the video footage, we drove home, originally planning to go up a main road to avoid back roads, but the main road was closed with people swimming in it. We arrived home where it had barely rained. The flood was in a corridor about 2 miles wide.
