This was the scene when a young Irish man tried to eat a kebab after he came home from a night out celebrating his 21st birthday in Ireland on Sunday (September 23).

Ben, 21, was in a rather inebriated state when he came home from the Danny Byrnes bar in Mullingar, Country Westmeath on Sunday.

Numerous attempts to get the kebab in his mouth failed which eventually resulted in Ben getting rid of his cutlery and just eating straight off the plate.

Ben's father said: "My son and I were out to celebrate his birthday, he loves his chicken kebab at the end of our nights out but he just couldn't find his mouth on Sunday night."

He later added: "He wasn't offensive or falling around, he's just a funny drunk like his dad."
