A possible tornado on Friday night caused widespread damage in northeast Maryland, damaging many buildings and vehicles in the Baltimore area.

A line of storms passed through the Washington D.C. and Baltimore areas overnight, packing winds of up to 70 miles per hour.

Roofs were damaged and several buildings saw significant damage in Baltimore and Carroll counties.

Two people died when part of a building collapsed at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in southeast Baltimore, although officials have yet to say whether this was the result of the extreme weather.

Late friday night as I was working on my computer I heard the wind suddenly pick up and blow the curtains of my window inwards. I got up and went to the rest of my family to make sure they had noticed the sudden pick of of the wind. After that my father and I stood at the back door and as soona s we tried to open it the wind almost pulled the door and my two hundred pound father! The lights began to flicker and I heard what sounded like an eighteen wheeler breaking very hard, so I grabbed my father and mother, pushed them down into the basement, close and locked the door, and waited till everything died down. After that I called friends and family to make sure they were okay, my aunt said that her tree had fallen down and she heard what had sounded like a house collapsing. People in the video also confirm that they heard "loud vibrations"
