Sending a burger and chips into space
A cool video has emerged of a pair of fast-food entrepreneurs sending a burger and chips into space.
Andy Shovel and Pete Sharman, the founders of London-based burger business ‘Chosen Bun’, can be seen making preparations for the unusual space flight before the action is caught on a GoPro camera as the burger ascends 112,000 feet into the sky.
“With a burger, chips, a balloon the size of a 2 bedroom house, LOTS of helium, a GPS transponder, hand-warmers, a camera, a parachute, duck-tape and some string - you can do just about anything” they wrote online.
