An amusing video has emerged from McCall, ID, USA of a toddler frightened by deer in his backyard.

Two year old Travis can be seen playing happily with his brother when his mother alerts him to a deer and he suddenly runs into the house screaming.

“Our backyard is full or wildlife. We often see deer, skunks, raccoons, and even bears” Travis’s father later wrote online.

“My kids love wildlife, but our two year old has a fear of deer - as docile and gentle as they are. He just screams bloody murder every time he sees one. I was always at work when he was scared by them so my wife told me to watch our son’s reaction when she said, "look Travis, a deer". His reaction was a surprise to me, I couldn’t believe he was so scared. He still screams “deer, deer, deer” when he sees one but now he also says "deer nice" and we agree and comfort him.”
