Ajax fans throwing firecrackers towards FC Utrecht fans
Football matches between FC Utrecht and Ajax are always full of tense. Home and away-fans are strictly segregated, but still continuing provoking each other and throwing objects. This match happened on 6th November 2011.
Fanatic fans of FC Utrecht normally sit on the Kop-end but against Ajax they buy tickets for seats as close as possible to the away end. From this short distance it's more easy for them to provoke Ajax fans by chanting, gestures of whatsoever. Both sets of fans are separated by fences and a net, but are still trying throwing objects.
Despite being searched by stewards, Ajax fans managed to bring in heavy fireworks and threw this to the provoking FC Utrecht's almost missing a steward trying to calm down the home fans.
