Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets in Madrid in support of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and to show their disapproval to what they deem a "US attempt to intervene" in the South American country.

Footage captured on Thursday evening (February 28) shows demonstrators shouting ''Out of Venezuela'' and holding banners reading ''Hands off Venezuela'' and ''No to the war and the coup'' as they walk in the streets of the city centre.

Supporters of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro marched in central Madrid on Thursday evening. The were chanting against president of United State, Donald Trump and shows banners against humanitarian aid and telling Trump " hand off Venezuela". The lema was no to the war and the coup in Venezuela.
Flags of the Spanish communist party and Venezuela flag were holded by protesters.
They were a tension moment when the protesters meet a Venezuelan resident and started to insulting him in the street. Police intervention stopped the moment.
