A popular beach in Northern Ireland was hit by a storm on Sunday (March 10), blowing horizontal sand and hail.

Video, captured by experienced weather watcher Martin McKenna, of Benone beach in County Derry shows a lone fisherman being caught in the severe winds before he is beaten back. A beach walker is seen battling the weather while another man attempts to measure the wind gusts with an instrument.

A variety of weather warnings for the UK for wind, snow and ice have been issued from Sunday to Wednesday, local media reported.
