A terrified mother recorded her six-year-old who sung about a doll that is going to kill others as a part of a 'Momo challenge' trend that involved a creepy doll used to scare children.

A smirk leaves the girls face as she sings the repetitive chorus "Momo is going to kill you" which according to the filmer, she learnt from Youtube. The mother spoke out saying "It was a surprise to me and my husband because we didn't know anything about it at this time." when the video was shot on Febuary 26.

Since then, news outlets have reported the nonexistent 'Momo Challenge' as a hoax. The social media challenge made headlines saying that youngsters were convinced to do violent acts leading to self harm or suicide.

I heard about Momo the night before this video, after school this day I mentioned Momo and my daughter knew this song. It was a surprise to me and my husband because we didn't know anything about it at this time.
