UK homes plagued by Bluebottle flies

This video shows a small insight into the nightmare endured by residents of Sinfin, Derby.

Residents believe it is a waste incinerator in the near vicinity that has brought a plague of flies into their lives. Becky Lightning, the filmer of this video, has stated that she can have from '150-300' flies swarming inside her house on any given day.

She received a note from her daughter begging to 'sleep outside in a tent' in order to get away from the pests, which Becky believes have been making her daughter ill.

The situation has become so bad that the Old Sinfin Housing Office has been giving out free fly paper. Lightning has stated that this problem has been going on for almost a year now.
