Arkansas River flooding in Tulsa

Buy video

The Arkansas River in the Tulsa County area has been flooding majorly. There is currently 250,000 cubic feet per second flowing out of Keystone Dam. The last time it flooded like this was in 1986. The video was taken at the Park at 41st & Riverside in Tulsa and the deck I was overlooks a drainage area that’s about 15-20 feet below the deck. There are storm drains along Riverside that are filling up. There are so many people here to see this historic event because it’s been 33 years since the river last flooded in Tulsa.
