Oswego, NY Windstorm Causes Road Flooding and Sandbag Failure
On November 1, 2019, a strong windstorm hit the Eastern Great Lakes region, including Lake Ontario around Oswego, NY. Road flooding was caused by the large waves 10-20 feet along the shoreline. The sandbags that were placed near Rudy's Lakeside Drive-in failed (they weren't that high) and caused lake water to rush into the roadway.
