Narrow, icy, muddy road in Northwest Iceland
My friends and I were on a surf trip in Iceland (yes, a surf trip) and we had heard of an isolated beach in the Westfjords region. This was the only road in and out and we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. It took us several hours to drive just a few miles! This was in October 2015.
