Jazz two-piece band jam to the sound of fire alarm in London venue
This was the humourous moment a jazz two-piece playing in a Camden venue jammed along with a fire alarm that was being tested on January 17.
Footage shows a drummer and a saxophonist play along to the sound of the continuous fire alarm.
The filmer confirmed: "This video was taken in a local jazz bar and features a two-man Jazz Band.
"The establishment was testing the fire alarm and the Jazz Band joined in."
The filmer later said: "It was one of those moments where I knew if I didn’t capture it on film, nobody would even believe the story if I told them.
"Everyone around was at first quite sceptical, especially those that had just walked in - but with most people around dancing, they got the sense that there was no danger and just a really good chance to vibe together.
Others - who I can only assume we’re regulars - were laughing at the absurdity of it.
"From what I know the bar usually only has singers and local rock/pop bands, so the whole jazz band/duet was unusual from the get-go!"
