Formula Rossa ride faulty. Passengers stuck on track
This is the world's fastest roller coaster (acceleration) that reaches 240 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Passengers experience up to 1.7 Gs during launch.
Unfortunately this ride has become somewhat unreliable since it opened. It kept breaking down on this visit and one group was stranded out at the launch pad. They then had to be released from their ride and walked back into the building.
In this video the staff can be seen using a portable battery power bank to energise the safety mechanism that releases their harness.
