This is the hilarious moment a boy from Scotland attempted to jump a stream but landed right in it.

The amusing moment was captured on camera by the boy's mother, Stacie Griffiths when they went out for some exercise during lockdown.

"As you can hear, I tried to contain my laughter till I knew he was OK," she said.

The funny clip was filmed in Edinburgh in April 2020.

My name is Stacie Griffiths I am 33 years old living in Edinburgh. I am a dual site manager for kurt Geiger. I personally filmed the video. My fiancé and I took our son for our daily exercise during lockdown. A typical thing we have done growing up in Scotland is what we call burn jumps, so as my partner was educating our son on said burn jumps he then demonstrated and jumped the burn so my son decided to follow. Obviously I had the phone out to catch the moment on camera but unfortunately for our son his jump didn’t go as well as he had hoped. As you can here I tried to contain my laughter till I knew he was ok. I have been told me laughing makes the video after I uploaded on my personal facebook page.
