Demonstrators gathered to bang pots and pans in Madrid against the government’s handling of the crisis.

Footage from Monday (May 18), shows demonstrators occupying the entire road, without keeping social distance. Some are seen wearing masks.

More than 500 people are said to have surrounded the PSOE headquarters in Madrid's Calle Ferraz.

According to local media, protesters chanted, "criminal Sánchez, murderous government."

At the cry of "criminal Sánchez, murderous government", these hundreds of protesters are increasingly organized. They are reported on social networks and increasingly attract more indignant people, so much so, that they are replicating throughout the city, from the Paseo de la Castellana, to the Alcorcón neighborhood. In other cities, the networks also showed protests. Occupying the entire road, without keeping any type of security distance, although some with masks, have been seen from banners in honor of Franco "for having freed us from the Communists", to Spanish flags with a black crepe for those killed by the covid-19. The protest, which is mainly due to the government's management in the face of the coronavirus crisis, seems to have become a perfect excuse to take out old quarrels.
