These were the shocking scenes from an Oakland Park branch of Walmart when a woman brandished a knife during a scuffle.

Footage from July 12 shows the fight in one of the aisles where other customers, including children, are nearby.

The two people fighting are seen on the floor, while another woman attempts to break up the violence.

During the fight, the woman in question is seen wielding a knife in a threatening manner shocking passersby.

Jean C. Polo, Jr, Esq., who filmed the event unfold, said: "I was at Walmart on Oakland Park, Florida when the woman in the video walked by and punched a cloth sign.

"She was yelling that she is eager to fight someone and added vulgarities.

"Moments later, a fight broke out and I captured it on video."

He also said the woman was "on house arrest and wearing an ankle monitor".
