Hundreds gathered on Pushkin Square in Moscow on Wednesday (July 15) to protest against the recent constitutional amendments, which enable President Vladimir Putin to seek two more terms.

Footage shows the protesters demonstrating in the rain and chanting slogans.

According to local media, more than 100 people were detained.

On Pushkin square in Moscow and on Malaya Sadovaya street in St. Petersburg, rallies are held against amendments to the Constitution. Russians demand the resignation of Vladimir Putin and shout slogans in support of the residents of Khabarovsk. In response to the actions of the protesters, the police use force and detain people, sending dissatisfied people to prison trucks.
However, in the middle of the peaceful action, the slogans "go to the Kremlin"began to sound. As a result, the protesters went through the Central streets of the capital. Along the way, they staged "speed bumps". Security forces were ordered to detain everyone.
