Wild snakes in London Royal Palace Park!
I came across this snake while on a stroll in Hampton Court Palace, among the grounds of Royal Bushy Park. He appeared from a tree hole and slithered towards me, before doing a u turn. It's actually a harmless grass snake that feeds on frogs and insects. They are quite shy, so it's unusual to see one so close.
