HS2 rail link contractors cut down ‘Cumberbatch’ tree at London Euston.
HS2 Rebellion protesters chant “shame on you HS2” as High Speed Rail cut down historic London Plane tree opposite University College Hospital on Euston Road.
The tree was named after Benedict Cumberbatch by anti-HS2 campaigners. The actor filmed episodes of the Sherlock TV series at nearby landmark Speedy’s café.
