Take a look at this Chinese pet market where puppies and kittens go on sale in cages
This Chinese vlogger takes a tour of a pet market in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province.
Footage from September 30 shows the live goods which are cute puppies and kittens are usually stored in cages with the rest of the litter.
Rabbits are also seen amongst the cats and dogs as the sellers sit by their stalls and patrons wander the rudimentary market set up.
The vlogger takes a shine to a "very fat cat" and observes it for a moment and later clarifies that the dogs are "not for eating" and specifically "pet dogs."
Later, he is explaining that an adorable puppy he has found costs around 400 yuan ($59 USD).
