A 9-year-old boy named Tate was overwhelmed with emotions at the sight of President Donald Trump during a rally in Georgia on November 1.

Tate's father Chad DeBoard said: "Tate is a third grader and has become interested in politics since the last presidential election. He started listening and paying attention to the news and adults talking about issues facing our country. Then he started researching for himself. He watched YouTube videos and listened to newscasts. Tate has always been patriotic and had a love of his country because we have raised him to be proud to be an American and to be respectful of his country and what it stands for. When the race for 2020 began in early 2019, Tate got really into it. He became very vocal about his support and love for Trump. He will tell you that Trump loves America and that he does what he says he will do. He likes that Trump wants to make America first and that he wants Americans to do well. For Halloween in 2019, Tate asked to dress as Donald Trump. He did and he loved it! Ever since then, he has worn his many Trump caps almost daily. He’s built his collection of Trump gear. Tate wants to live in an America that is safe and provides opportunities for him. He’s wanted to meet President Trump for several years. Attending the rally and seeing him in person was a dream come true!"
