Digger balanced in risky position on demolition site in Shanghai
A video has emerged from China of an excavator balanced precariously on the top of a building being demolished in Shanghai.
In the footage, captured by a concerned local resident earlier this month, the 20 tonne digger can be seen parked on the 15th floor of the half-demolished office block, with no safety precautions in place.
According to local news reports, the company responsible for the demolition has acknowledged the risk and has promised to remove the construction vehicle at the earliest opportunity.
