Ice skaters saved from melting Court Pond
A group of ice skaters had to be saved from the Hofvijver (Court Pond) in The Hague (The Netherlands). After getting on the ice, that is situated next to the buildings of the Dutch Parliament, the ice was getting warm by the sun and started to melt. Bystanders, fire fighters and police officers had to save the ice skaters. Several people fell into the water and had to be checked by paramedics.
