139-year-old Victorian house moved in San Francisco

Moving a 139 year old Victorian building from Franklin Street to Fulton Street, California, 30’Wx50’Hx80’L estimated 80-90 tons. The 1880s grand Victorian was picked up and moved six blocks. Giant dollies carried it about one mile an hour and it cost roughly $400,000 dollars to move the home. According to the San Francisco Historical Society, it’s been almost 50 years since a Victorian was last relocated within the city. These videos were taken from the Hayward Playground on Golden Gate Ave.
