'A man saw his world turn upside down after he said something under the assumption that his microphone was on mute despite it being fully functional.

When Matthew (Santiago) Mastoridis, 23 year old and one of his friends decided to prank the latter's boyfriend over a Zoom call by making him believe that his mic was on mute, the boyfriend ended up saying something that would get him in trouble.

"I'm gonna facetime Vanessa," said the boyfriend after he was told by his friends (while on a Zoom conference call) that his voice wasn't audible. However, the interesting thing is that his girlfriend's name wasn't Vanessa.

After realizing the blunder he had just made, the boyfriend's reaction was simply priceless.

"My friend and I were doing a prank series to post on my YouTube channel and got more of a surprise than we expected," said Matthew.

Name: Matthew (Santiago) Mastoridis
