Authorities Launch "Drones" In Two Biosphere Reserves
The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) and the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection and Tourism launched drones in both the Dana Biosphere Reserve and Mujib Biosphere Reserve Saturday.
This was implemented as part of the strategic partnership between both entities with the aim of controlling biodiversity, limiting attacks on reserves and overfishing, and carrying out some technical studies.
The presence of aircraft will enhance control over the two reserves, which include large, mountainous and difficult terrain. This will utilize modern technology to protect biodiversity in Jordan and deal with environmental conditions efficiently.
