Vigil for Sarah Everard on Clapham common the day after mourners clash with the police
Mourners visit clapham common to pay their respects to Sarah Everard who was kidnapped and murdered from the area a week ago. The 33 year old was walking home alone from Clapham common alone when she went missing. Her remains were found in a forest in Kent and a police officer has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and murder.
Last night a vigil for Sarah was broken up by the police, where protesters and mourners were manhandled and arrested. Today mourners continue to come to the clapham bandstand to pay their respects and lay flowers.
