This 9-month-old puppy was given a well-needed groom in Tracy, California.

Breanna Salas, 31, filmed as she cleaned the Yorkipoo suffering from a skin condition that causes severe flaking and dandruff.

After Salas trims and brushes the pup, she gives him a medicated bath to wash the dirt from his fur.

She said: "The puppy is very nervous at first but gets more comfortable as the grooming session progresses. In the end you can clearly see the puppy not only looks better but feels better!"

Once dried the Yorkipoo is given another trim before the long hairs on his face are cut.
