This dog was left baffled during a game of hide and seek as its owner concealed himself by a door.

Elijah Smith, living in Hampton, Georgia, filmed as he played hide and seek with his dog Blu.

As they both leave the room, Smith quickly darts behind the door. Blu is then seen pacing back and forth across the landing to try and locate her owner.

Smith said: "I play hide and seek with my dog a lot, so I decided to set up the camera this time and see how everything goes."

The video starts off in a room where it's decided that the owner named Elijah will be hiding and the pet would be searching for him.

Elijah does a smart thing and ends up hiding in the same room behind the door. As for Blu, he keeps on searching for his owner all around the house but the room he is hiding in because, of course, who would hide in a spot where they started the game from?

Eventually, Elijah calls Blu and the little pup traces his owner's voice to find him.
