An amusing video has emerged from the US of a kitten stuck in a paper bag.

In the footage, captured in a home in Kentucky late last month, the cat can be seen struggling to extricate itself from the handle of a paper bag,

After flailing around, the kitten eventually manages to free itself, to the amusement of its owner watching the bizarre performance.

Describing the experience online, the filmer wrote "This was our first visit to our son's since he and his girlfriend "rescued" (adopted) Coco. We had gotten takeout from Chipotle and because she is such a curious kitten, I put the bag down to see what she would do. She rolled around in it for about 45 seconds and she must have got caught in the handle. This clip is the end of the minute plus video and she's had enough! You can tell by her tail she is ticked off then all hell breaks loose. She was not harmed in any way, in fact she was back laying on the bag 20 minutes later as if to say "Yeah, that's right, I conquered you!"
