A huge fire broke out at a factory, killing eight in Shanghai on April 22.

The video shows strong smoke rising into the air and a building was burnt down.

According to reports, the factory belongs to Shengrui Electronic Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Eight people including two firefighters were confirmed dead after they were reported missing.

The case is under investigation, reports said.

4月22日下午1时30分，位于金山区林盛路171弄116号一企业厂房失火。
事故发生后，消防等救援力量赶赴现场全力处置，现火势已被控制。经初步排摸，有8人失联，其中6名为企业相关人员，2名为消防救援人员。搜救工作正在紧张进行。
4月23日6时20分，金山区林盛路171弄116号胜瑞电子科技（上海）有限公司失火厂房明火已被扑灭。
经过消防救援人员连夜紧张搜救，8名失联人员均已找到，经现场医护人员确认，已无生命体征；其中2名消防救援人员系在搜救被困人员过程中牺牲，其他6名遇难者的相关善后工作正在进行。

目前，现场正再次进行确认工作。周边大气、水体监测结果无异常，消防污水及时收集存储，下一步将按规范进行处理。

目前现场善后清理工作正在抓紧开展，事故原因正在调查中。（视频由上海台提供）
