Nest-building time for jackdaws coincides perfectly with the weeks when this Shetland pony is shedding her thick winter coat. So they seem to have struck up a deal that works very nicely on both sides: the pony munches happily at the grass as the powerful bird pecks the loose, itchy hair from her back - before flying off with a very full beak!
