A woman from Swansea in the UK demonstrates her satisfying cleaning methods as she goes to work on her dad's home.

"Started off as a hobby as cleaning is something I enjoy," explained Demi Morcom.

"My best cleaning tip is to work clockwise and top to bottom. You don’t wanna find yourself redoing the same spot, or making a mess where you’ve just been," the 29-year-old added.

Started off as a hobby as cleaning is something I enjoy, I saw cleaning videos trending online and decided to give it a go. My friends and family can’t quite believe so many people care about how and what I clean, but they’re proud and impressed none the less. Every weekend I would visit my dad during lockdown (I’m in his bubble), and I would help him out with deep cleaning parts of his home. He’s a great cook, and a great dad too! But he’s not a great cleaner, so I tackled his stove, washing machine and UPVC upstairs. He was super grateful!

My best cleaning tip is to work clockwise and top to bottom. You don’t wanna find yourself redoing the same spot, or making a mess where you’ve just been. Seeing a room or an item go from filthy to sparkling is something I enjoy most about cleaning, so started in one corner of a room and gradually working my way around is the best way I find to get things as clean and tidy as possible! And in the most satisfying way.

A little bit of background information about me ! I am a single mum to two girls, Mia (5) and Lily (1), I’m a professional singer but I haven’t worked since March 2020, so cleaning on TikTok was a way for me to put my time and energy into something. I’ve just come out of a relationship, so I’ve had to move back home with my dad for the mean time, but my incredible journey on TikTok is putting me in a position to financially support myself and my kids and hopefully I’ll be able to get our own place if things continue to go well. I’m an Adele tribute and i sung primarily at hotels, bars and weddings. I sing live on TikTok to my followers 1/2 a month, like a live show where they can request songs and we have a right laugh! Currently trying to go Instagram as much as I can, and eventually I’ll find my way too YouTube too. Cleaning will eventually become lifestyle in general, especially when I move into our own home. I have a big passion for makeup/beauty, I go on TikTok live to do my makeup once a week or so. I'm planning on making content around weight loss and healthy living as I’m a big fan of cooking too, so I would love to include cooking videos eventually.. and have an account where I’m covering everything from cleaning, home, beauty, health and lifestyle.
