This hardcore football fan hitchhiked over 800 kilometres from his home in Valenciennes to Munich to watch Germany's Euro 2020 game against France.

David, @ExploreFeelGood, filmed as he set off from his hometown in northern France to Munich, 865 kilometres away.

The hitchhiker managed to get seven different rides and reached Munich city centre in 12 and a half hours.

Upon arriving in the city David sold one of his tickets to the France vs Germany game in exchange for accommodation.

France will take on Germany on June 15 in both teams' first game of the tournament.

After 865kms, 12.5 hours and 7 different rides (with drivers from 5 different nationalities) he reaches Munich city center...
But his adventures aren't over yet as he's now on the look for a last-minute accommodation... for free
Luckily he meets another football fan, a German one actually, who offers to book a 2-night hotel room for him, on top of buying his extra tickets at face value
