'Epic timelapse of the partial solar eclipse that was observable during the early hours of June 10, 2021.
Vasily Droganov, the filmer, explained to us the process that went behind the creation of this stunning video. He said: "I shot separate images using my Nikon D5100 DSLR camera through Skywatcher BKP 1501 telescope, and then stacked all the shots into this timelapse video."
He added: "856 frames taken at 10-second intervals, 165 gigabytes of data, and over 8 hours of rendering for 13 seconds of video."
The beautiful scene shown in this footage was experienced by the residents of Velikiy Novgorod, Russia.
