'Horse riding isn't all sunshine and rainbows and unfortunately, Harriet Wraith found this out the hard way.

This clip features Harriet falling off a horse after a botched jump attempt.

The rider wrote: "The GEORGE RIDING CLUB hosts a three-day multi-disciplinary horse riding competition, the SPRING FESTIVAL, in September each year. I participated in the 2017 and 2018 editions."

She continued: "Three weeks before the show, my coach advised me to ride my friend, HANNAH QUASS's horse named GOLDMARK APOLLO as I had outgrown my pony, Star."

She added: "It was a huge adjustment for me competing (especially showjumping!) on a horse I had only ridden a couple of times. On day 2, after having completed my Dressage competitions, Apollo and I took part in the 80cm showjumping competition. I didn't read the strides properly and looked into the base of the jump, causing Apollo to refuse the jump and I went flying."

Luckily, Harriet's Hit-Air Body Protector Vest prevented her from incurring any major injuries. She would later go on to buy Apollo from her friend, Hannah.
