1 month later after planting my pineapple crown how to tell it has rooted and growing

I planted the top of a pineapple a little over a month ago and now this is the follow up video to show you how to tell that it has rooted and is now growing. The crown starts to open up and spread out and the bottom leaves thicken up in width and feel. You will eventually see new prongs sprouting out of the center of the crown. Again it takes approximately 2 years to mature to produce fruit. Water directly onto the crown to keep the humidity around the plant if you do not live in a area with tropical weather. This is video #2 in my pineapple series.
