Building the set of Amazon Prime's The Power series (Written by Naomi Alderman)
The tiny coastal village of Bawdsey in Suffolk will be used to film the main scenes for a new Amazon Prime series called The Power. The video shows the set being people built and includes a huge mock up of a convent which will feature heavily. Based on the book of the same name it tells the story of some teenage age girls that one day suddenly find themselves with extra strength and powers. This leads to other women finding similar abilities and a change to society where women become the dominant sex. The show will star Leslie Mann, Tim Robbins and Rob Delaney amongst others.
