Despite the security being present, the fan stampede proved to be unstoppable. The filmer told us: "People got run over by others amid this chaos. Even a disabled wheelchair fan got stampeded in the cage, which you can see in the background." The filmer revealed that this unrest and the resulting stress continued as the night went on: "As the match started, since there were so many people in the stadium without a ticket and allocated seat, it caused endless fights in the crowd, with blood left everywhere due to two men fighting. The FA should be ashamed of themselves." The filmer also revealed that someone without a ticket tried to get into his brother's turnstile when he scanned his ticket. This led to the turnstile getting jammed due to two people trying to fit into a small space, causing the ticket to be rendered invalid.
