Storm Clouds/Convection Bubbling Up Under Capping Inversion During Hot Weather At Busy Beach

Hot weather, heat wave and busy beaches, it was scorching this day on the beach, even in the shade, strong thunderstorms were also forecast. I chased and got on a target area where a sea breeze convergence zone formed convection over Donegal Bay, this is were thunderstorms would fire, however a capping inversion in the form of warm air at the mid levels stopped storms from forming. I time lapsed the developing convection/towering cumulus to show the clouds repeated attempts to break the cap and storm. This was from a beach in Co. Donegal, Ireland. DSLR time lapse.
