Independence Day of Ukraine: celebrations and parade began on Khreshchatyk

On August 24, a military parade was held in Kiev to mark the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. Celebrations are also held in other cities of the country. A naval parade took place in Odessa.
The parade under the presidency of Vladimir Zelensky is being held for the first time. About 4 thousand soldiers and military equipment passed along the central street of Kiev Khreshchatyk, aviation flew in the sky, including the "Mriya" - the world's largest aircraft.
