Six people died after the collapse of the storied building in Kisenyi, a Kampala City suburb on Sunday afternoon. Among those confirmed dead are five male and one female. Police has sealed off the scene of the accident and investigations about the incident including establish the owner and the contractors are on going. The four storied building is located at busiest Kisenyi area, where several traders of grains carry out their daily business. Irene Nakasiita, spokesperson for Uganda Red Cross Society said they have already pulled out their staff after it was confirmed that there was no longer anybody trapped in the collapsed building .
"Six bodied where recovered and others who escaped with injuries where transferred to mulago hospital”, said Nakasiita.
