DIY clip shows how to create felt bags on a ball
Uploaded by a Newsflare content partner
Natasha Smart, 51, is a wet felter and textile artist from Exmouth, Devon, United Kingdom.
She filmed these videos between July 2020 and July 2021.
Smart said: "The videos are all showing the process of wet felting, which involves taking wool fibre, laying it out in a flat or 3D structure (like putting the fibre around a ball), adding soapy water to it and then agitating the fibre to make it lock and bond together. In the case of flat felting, this means rubbing and rolling it to agitate it, and in the case of the ball, I put the ball (covered with wool fibre) into tights to hold everything together and then I bounce it."
