London homeowner feeds and strokes extremely rare albino squirrel
A homeowner in Sutton, London, filmed as they fed and stroked an extremely rare albino squirrel.
Footage from October 16 shows the white-furred squirrel eating a handful of seeds as the filmer strokes it.
"Our resident wild albino squirrel that visits us on most days has now gained my trust to the extent where she allows me to stroke her like a cat," said the filmer.
They added: "I would like to bet that this has never been achieved before anywhere in the world as she is not a pet but a totally wild animal, this has taken over a year to get to this point and she has helped our family get through the trials and tribulations of the pandemic."
