A spectacular video has emerged from the United States of a huge tornado touching down on Saturday close to Elmer, Oklahoma.

The video shows the twister in a farm close to Highway 283.

Debris from the tornado rains down on the filmers in their vehicle, forcing them to flee.

Amazingly several cows stand in the field right next to the tornado, apparently unaware of the danger.

Another round of powerful storms moved across the US on Saturday, bringing with it tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and damaging winds.

The National Weather Service said at least six confirmed tornadoes touched down Saturday.

Very large tornado crossed highway 283 near Elmer, Oklahoma and hit a few farmsteads. The cows were oblivious to it! Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities reported as of now.
